Since I started doing the Alpha Shred Challenge in 2017, not one challenge has required a gym. All of the workouts have been designed for home, the outdoors, or the beach. Now, many gyms shut down due to COVID, and there’s a bunch of people doing weird shit at home.
Listen, training at home and training at the gym are two completely different things. You’re gonna achieve the same things at home—you’re just not. However, when you know how to adjust the intensity of what you’re doing at home, it could be extremely effective.
During the COVID situation, I still kept giving all my online clients their workouts, some of which were designed for the gym because some people still had access, but many were designed for the home.

Now, you’ll see me doing this workout in a gym (see video), but that’s because I filmed it there. In reality, all you need is a pair of dumbbells. If you don’t have any equipment, I get all my stuff through offer up. All you have to do is put in what you want, and people sell you used equipment.
Alright, onto the workout…
1. Man Makers

2. Push-Ups With Row/Side Plank

3. Weighted Burpees

4. Goblet Squats

5. Jump Squats

6. Dumbbell Deadlifts

7. Dumbbell Deadlifts/Row Complex

Conclusion
Listen, if you don’t have access to a gym, don’t be sitting there at home getting out of shape. Get a couple dumbbells and do shit like this.
This high-intensity workouts where you’re constantly going after it and keeping your heart rate up is what gets you in really good shape. Remember, we’re not here to build show muscles—we’re here to become well-rounded athletes who look great and can also move great.
This type of shit gives you endurance, gets your body to respond because it never gets to feel comfortable, and simply gets your shredded. Go ahead and give it a try and let me know in the comments how it went.
