7 Exercises For A Flat Stomach And Muscle Gain *For Men And Women*

I’ve got something special for you today: the gift of being shredded. Well, it’s not really a gift. It’s actually more work on top of your workout. These are 7 of my favorite movements. All you need are two dumbbells. 

And you’ll do this instead of cardio. Cardio is fucking boring. I don’t say you shouldn’t do it, but I know the reality is that a lot of your motherfuckers won’t be spending an hour on a treadmill as won’t I. 

So I have something more exciting for you to do. And the beauty of not doing steady state cardio is that you’re not burning away muscle. Here we are burning calories and, of course, also building muscle. You’re gonna be doing some high-intensity training with the dumbbells, so your heart rate is always gonna be up. 

Do this either after your workout or before. The weight is not heavy, it’s gonna spike the heart rate, it’s gonna get you in that fat burning phase. You will be burning fat and also building muscle. It’s strength training, so you’re getting the best of both worlds. I’m all about that. 

Alright, let’s get it. Here are the movements. Do them in order. 

1. Man Makers  

2. Push-Ups With Row/Side Plank

3. Weighted Burpees 

4. Goblet Squats 

5. Jump Squats 

6. Dumbbell Deadlifts

7. Dumbbell Deadlifts/Row Complex

There you have it. It doesn’t take long—maybe 5 minutes, but that’s it. I want you to do this in order. Just knock it out. I’m telling you, you’re burning calories like a motherfucker. Listen, when you do steady-state cardio, you’re only doing cardio while you’re on that machine. 

When you’re burning calories in a muscle-building capacity, you’re burning calories for like a day or so because your muscle fibers gotta rebuild, so you’re always burning calories. Trust me, y’all. You don’t see your boy getting on a treadmill for an hour. You see me do this type of shit here. You know why? Because it works!
